Enhancements and New Development

  • New development for staff includes a new report for Staff Training and Qualifications. This enables you to identify any gaps in training and qualifications across your nursery, and plan for future staff development. As part of this suite of enhancements, you will find new global HR settings which allow you to add qualification levels and training courses to your eyMan system, including the option to define which level/course is higher. These qualifications and training can then be linked to a particular job role or multiple roles, and a minimum qualification and minimum training course for each position can be assigned. On the staff profile, the current qualification levels and any qualifications that the staff member is working towards can be added, along with training courses completed and booked for a future date.
  • A new report, the Sticky Labels report, has been added which enables the user to print sticky labels which may include a child's profile photo, their name, room, key worker and a QR code (reserved for future development), with the option to print multiple copies per room or per nursery. These are ideal for labelling drinks bottles, coat hooks, art folders and so on.
  • The Invoice Amount report has been enhanced to include credit notes and the report can now be filtered by invoice type (All, Monthly Invoices, Manual Invoices and Credit Notes). 
  • A new report, Staff Emergency Contact Details has been added which includes staff dietary and medical requirements, as well as emergency contact information. 
  • A new addition to the register reports, the Daily -Multiple Rooms has been added, which allows the user to view multiple rooms on a single page, and a blank line has been added after each child in the PDF of the weekly register report, so nursery staff can add the actual in/out times to the printed in/out times.
  • The Bradford Factor Report is now available on the reports section, enabling nurseries to monitor staff absences.
  • Two new occupancy reports, Occupancy/FTE - Average and Occupancy/FTE - Monthly have been added, enabling nursery staff to view occupancy averages/FTE for a selected month or week, or across a monthly range for comparison.
  • The facility to delete custom reports has been added.
  • "Products/Services" has been removed from the invoice screen and PDF and only the description of the product/service is displayed. The invoice number has been added to the PDF for manual invoices.
  • Parental responsibility and bill payer boxes for Parent 1 and 2 are now automatically marked when children are imported from eyLog into eyMan. 
  • Major functionality has been implemented to enable customers to import children and staff from CSV files, and select which fields the data should be imported to in the child and staff tables respectively.
  • Staff and Parent Messages have been enabled for all customers, where this was previously available to nurseries using eyMan only.
  • A new setting in the branch/nursery system settings has been added to enable nurseries to customise the automatic leave date calculation for each child by selecting the default age when the child leaves for school.
  • Enhancements to Equally Spread Invoices have been made so that partial weeks have been excluded from sample week calculation and the facility to override the weekly amount has been added. 
  • Enhancements to the wording of emails sent to parents and managers for registration forms have been implemented.


Bug Fixes

  • A bug where the header image could not be added to the invoice settings has been corrected.
  • The enquiry date for waitlisted children is now shown on the availability chart, not the current date. 
  • A bug in staff scheduling where a child was incorrectly included in the ratios for a younger age band on the day of their birthday has been corrected.
  • A bug where backdated payments could not be added on the payments allocation screen, has been corrected.
  • On invoices, a bug which allowed the user to duplicate the payment and overpay the invoice has been corrected.
  • On session types, incremental rates are now correctly marked when a modified session rate is created.
  • A bug where the link in emails for the registration and enquiry forms directed the user to the eyMan login page has been corrected.
