You, as the parent, can download your child’s learning journey as a PDF document at any time. The PDF download has all the photos and links to the video/audio clips. You can click on the video/audio link to view or download the video/audio clips. There are no charges for this option, for additional offline learning journey options see ‘Offline Learning Journey – Pricing for Parents’.
To download your child’s learning journey as a PDF, you will need to login to your web based Parent Portal. Note: Downloads are NOT supported from the eyLog Parent App. To login to the web parent portal for your child's nursery you need the specific web address for your child's nursery. This can be found in any of the emails you receive regarding your child's observations. To log in, you should use the same email address and password as you do for the parent app. Please contact your child's nursery or the eyLog support team if you require assistance with this process.
Once you are logged in, click on your child’s photo.
This will open up your child’s learning journey. From here, click the ‘Download’ button at the top of the page to download all your child’s observations in a PDF document.
The system will then generate a download link which will be sent to the email address you used to access your child's learning journey. Note: The download link will only be valid for 48 hours, after this you will need to complete this process again to receive a new link.
Click on ‘Click Here’ to download the PDF files from the zip (compressed) link onto your computer, following which you will need to extract the file. Depending on the size of your child’s learning journey, the observations may be split across more than one PDF document.
You can also download individual observations using the ‘Download’ button above each observation.
If the nursery allows this option, you may also have a ‘Download Media’ button above each observation. Click this to download any photos/videos/audio clips attached to the observation as a media file.
