If a parent has not received their login details for their child’s Parent Portal there are a few checks that can be done to get them up and running:


> Check the 'Share Data with Parent' checkbox is ticked.

> Get the parent to check the Junk folder in their email account to ensure that the original details have not been received here.

> If the parent has activated their account but cannot remember their login information, they can reset their password from the Parent Portal login screen at any time. To do this they will need to click on ‘Forgot Password’ and enter their username which will be their email address. This will generate a password reset ling which will then be sent to them via email.


Alternatively, you can resend an activation link or reset the parent's password at any time from the Manager Dashboard. 


1. Once you are logged in, click on the ‘Children’ tab at the top of the screen.  



2. From this screen, click on the child whose parent login you need to reset. 



3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on ‘Reset Password’ for the relevant parent/email address. If the parent has not activated their account the message "This parent is not activated yet' will show. Click on 'Resend Activation Link' for the relevant parent to send a new activation link to them via email.


Once the parent has activated their account, this message would no longer show. If the parent has forgotten their login details, click on ‘Reset Password’ for the relevant parent then ‘OK’ to send a new password to them via email.


4. Then click ‘Submit’ to confirm and the system will generate a new password. 


Note: The activation link/ new password will be sent to their email address (as shown in the ‘Email’ field). Please get them to check their Junk folder in their email account if they still do not receive the new password.
